10 years from now.

It's both frightening and interesting to consider my future. I have many plans and objectives I'd like to reach. There is a saying that time flies so fast without noticing it. A few blinks and a few years are gone. 10 years is not a short period of time. In 10 years, many adjustments can occur, and one can develop a lot of skills. Sometimes, it scares me that in the next 10 years, I will be 26 years old, and I ask myself, "Will I be able to achieve my dreams?", "What if I fail?" and "What if I can't do it?". But I can imagine myself as a happy and successful woman who had accomplished half of her plans. If not yet, I will continue to work hard towards accomplishing those goals.

I can see myself traveling to different countries with my family and friends. I'm not yet sure what course I am going to take for college; it's either accounting or civil engineering. But whatever I do in the future, I hope that I will be happy by then and can help my family, especially my parents.

Overall, I am prepared to invest my time, effort, and unwavering determination to transform my dreams into reality. I am filled with a sense of excitement and determination to chase my dreams and shape a future that aligns with my deepest aspirations.

The End of an Extraordinary Journey

As the school year nears its end, we will be reflecting on the wonderful journey that we've undertaken together before completing junior high school. The past several months have been full of ups and downs, experiences, challenges, and achievements. It's time to reflect on our progress so far and be proud of our academic and personal growth.

As the final pages of this chapter approach, I can't help but feel different emotions. I'm glad that after a lot of sleepless nights, hard work, breakdowns, and challenges that we've encountered, in less than a month, we will be completing and ending our JHS journey and soon start our SHS journey. But as it gets closer and closer, it reminds me that for the next school year, me and my 10 Markov will not be in the same classroom again. I can't help not to feel sad because, for almost the last 10 months, we've been together almost every day.

Being a grade 10 student hasn't been simple for me. It's been a roller coaster ride with many ups and downs and unexpected turns. There are excitement and joy, but there are also disappointments, problems, and moments of stress, like when we encounter difficulty in subjects, tests, and activities. But after all of those, with the support of my friends, classmates, teachers, and family, I got through it.

To all our teachers, thank you for the immeasurable contributions you have made to our lives. Thank you for all your efforts. Your influence reaches beyond textbooks, leaving an eternal impression on our hearts and minds.

To my 10 Markov, thank you for all of your support and encouragement, whether it was regarding homework, activities, lessons, cheering, or lending an ear to listen every time I discussed my personal problems, and for continually complimenting and telling me how beautiful I am despite all my doubts about myself. I may not show it, but I appreciate it very much. I will undoubtedly miss the shared laughter, the friendships we have created, and the times of pure joy we enjoyed together inside or outside school. Your presence, friendship, and help have made a great impact on my life. The memories we have created will long remain in my mind, reminding me of the great adventure I rode on as a Grade 10 student. You all will be forever part of me, My Markov.

माता

Mother's Day is a special holiday celebrated to recognize and appreciate the selfless love, concern, and sacrifices made by moms everywhere. It's a day to give thanks to the ladies who gave birth to us, raised us, and had a significant impact on our lives. The role of a mother is multifaceted. She is not only responsible for the physical well-being of her children but also for their emotional and psychological development.  A mother is a child's first teacher, teaching them essential morals and life lessons that mold their personality and character. She gives her kids a safe, secure atmosphere in which to develop and learn, and she supports them in pursuing their goals.

A mother is just like a hollow block molder. It keeps you in tact with every little piece you form yourself. Mothers train you to become tough, so that even if they are already gone, we are able to face the storms or challenges life has to offer.

Mother's Day is now celebrated in many different kinds of ways, such as by spending time with mothers, giving them gifts, sending them cards, and preparing special meals or snacks. It's a moment to consider the significance of mothers in our lives and to show our gratitude for their care, assistance, and sacrifices. We should always cherish and appreciate our mothers for all that they do for us.

LABOR DAY

In the Philippines, Labor Day is also known as "Araw ng mga Manggagawa" and is celebrated on May 1st every year. It is a national holiday that recognizes the contributions and sacrifices of Filipino workers to the country's progress and development.

The significance of Labor Day in the Philippines dates back to the early 20th century, when Filipino workers fought for better working conditions, higher wages, and the right to organize and form labor unions. In 1903, the first Labor Day was celebrated in the Philippines as a way to honor the struggles and achievements of the labor movement.

Today, Labor Day in the Philippines is a time to pay tribute to the country's workers, especially those in the formal and informal sectors who have been greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. It is also an opportunity to raise awareness about labor issues and to advocate for the rights and welfare of workers, including fair wages, safe working conditions, and social protections.

In the Philippines, Labor Day is often marked by rallies, demonstrations, and other forms of peaceful protest organized by labor groups and workers' organizations. It is a reminder of the ongoing struggle for social justice and the need for continued advocacy and action to protect the rights and interests of Filipino workers.

3/4

How fast time flies! The third quarter had already ended. The third quarter is no different from the 1st and 2nd quarters. But for me, this quarter is more difficult than the previous ones.
This quarter we continued to talk about HTML Tags. We’ve learned about HTML Tables and HTML lists. We were also tasked to make a Community- Based Research. We went to different places around Vigan to study and know more about the Literary Works of Bigueños. During the conducting of our research, I had a fun time with my group mates, and we also gained new knowledge about the topic.

This quarter must have been full of challenges, but it was also full of lessons, and I'm glad that I somehow survived. This quarter hasn't been easy for anyone but whoever is reading this, You did well and I’m proud of you! Keep your eyes fixed on your goals, and don't let fear or self-doubt hold you back.

Great and Holy Week

Holy Week is a significant religious holiday that remembers Jesus Christ's suffering, death, and resurrection. It lasts a week, beginning on Palm Sunday and ending on Easter Sunday. Holy Week is one of the most important religious events in the country, and it is marked with great solemnity and devotion. Many participate in religious processions, reenactments of Christ's Passion, and other religious rites. Many Filipinos participate in the Visita Iglesia during Holy Week, which entails visiting seven churches and praying the Stations of the Cross in each one. On Maundy Thursday, some Filipinos participate in a reenactment of the Last Supper and the washing of the apostles' feet, known as the "Pabasa ng Pasyon." Good Friday is a day of fasting and reflection, and many Filipinos attend the "Senakulo," a street play depicting Jesus Christ's suffering and death. Easter Sunday, which commemorates Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead, concludes Holy Week. Easter Sunday Mass is attended by a large number of Filipinos, and there are also Easter egg hunts and other activities.

My holy week was great; my papa had the chance to go home from his work in Manila. After a few months, we were able to eat together again, bond, go to church, go for walks, and spend time as a family.

Overall, Holy Week is a time of deep religious reflection and devotion in the Philippines, and it is an important part of the country's cultural and religious heritage.
