LET THEM BE LITTLE

NATIONAL CHILDREN’S MONTH CELEBRATION 2022

The National Children's Month is being celebrated in November with the national theme "Kalusugan, kaisipan, at kapakanan ng bawat bata ating tutukan!" which seeks to support children who have suffered abuse, suffering, natural catastrophes, and violence in particular by giving them access to a healthy environment, a good education, and healthcare. The purpose of the annual event is to promote excellent parenting among parents, guardians, caregivers, and teachers in order to provide a safe, caring, and protective environment for children. It specifically aims to: raise awareness of the value of positive parenting and positive discipline; improve parents' and caregivers' knowledge of how to manage or educate their children online; and increase support for positive discipline in classrooms that are responsive to the needs of the students.

Why children's health is important? The root of all growth and development is your child's health. Of course, your child's health goes beyond just physical development. The mental (learning and thinking) development, social and emotional maturity, and mental health of your child are some other crucial aspects of their health.

Why is their thought also important? Today's youth are preparing to become tomorrow's adults and citizens. The quality of the current educational system reflects the expansion, which is parallel to the future of our nation. Young, impressionable brains need to be piqued with curiosity, and schools need to provide them the tools they need to become better people. It is generally acknowledged that education plays a significant role in determining a person's personality and approach to life's challenges. In schools, there has been a tidal change due to the shift in emphasis from bookish knowledge to life knowledge. People are becoming more open to the idea that education is essential for a well-rounded growth rather than merely a way to earn degrees and succeed financially in life.

Their welfare, why is it important? Children are a reflection of society. We may see our hopes and desires for a brighter future in their eyes. The proverb "There is a child in each of us" is another that should be remembered while still alive.

Children play a significant role in determining how the world will look in the future. Therefore, if one can make a difference in a child's life, at least a small change may occur in the future. And if the majority of them share the same viewpoints, then we can anticipate a brighter future.

Reflection

Upon returning to school, there are a few adjustments that are necessary for me because we students have not been in school for several years due to the pandemic. But I'm happy that we can go back to school because even though studying is hard you can enjoy it because you have friends to help you. I didn't have too much trouble adjusting because I had friends and my classmates and teachers were good. During first quarter, a lot happened, I made many friends and got along well with my classmates and teachers, there are times that I struggle with our lessons, and Many breakdowns happened because sometimes I was struggling, and sometimes disappointed with my self with different reasons. To be honest, I’m not very satisfied with my performance but with the help of my friends, classmates and family, I was able to overcome this problems. Moving on, I think that I did well in the whole first quarter because I was able to overcome with all my struggles and disappointments with myself. The lessons I first struggled to understand to are now clear to me, and my quiz results are good although, some of them are not. So far, I'm proud of myself for what I've done the whole first quarter and I'll work even harder in the future.
